When War came for the boys of his village, Euri was only too happy to enlist.
Farmer was beneath him, the work of the unambitious, the work of those who didn't seek more in their lives.
It wasn't until he went to war that he realized how much a farmer's worth was, or how deeply he'd miss the simplicity of hoe and plow when replaced with sword and spear.
When the war ended, he thought he'd be allowed to go home. He never realized that what would follow once the fighting ceased was a greater battle than the war itself...
