I found this wonderful site while looking for inspiring quotes that posts Desktop Photos (for use strictly for your desktop only) of flowers for every month.
Justine Celina writes a "Creative Lifestyle Blog" and posts, once a month, new photos of beautiful flower images that you can use as backgrounds on/for your desktops.
As she states in her blog, I'm going to post and ask here too, but PLEASE honor the artist and do NOT use these images for anything but beautifying your desktops. Here is someone who is giving a little bit of beauty back to the world, and I just wanted to take a minute to share it with you!
